BACKGROUND
Ernest Conrad is the Principal in Charge at Conrad Engineers. The firm was established in 2010 by Ernest Conrad who is the past founder and president of Landmark Facilities Group from its 1988 inception until 2010. Ernest continues on in the same tradition of providing engineering design and consulting services to significant architectural facilities including museums, libraries, commercial, high rise residential, and sacred sites throughout New York State as well as 12 other States in which he is professionally licensed as a mechanical engineer. SPECIALTY HVAC SYSTEMS
Ernest Conrad has a long history of designing specialty HVAC systems for occupant comfort in facilities which have unique demands such as Landmarks preservation, high density occupancy, or special climates to protect historic collections in public places.

Recent activities have included consulting to the Flea Theater construction project in lower Manhattan and several master planning exercises for religious public assembly facilities including Plymouth Church and Kane Street Synagogue in Brooklyn.

OTHER SPECIALTY ENVIRONMENTS
As a sampling of some precision temperature and humidity controlled facilities projects, Lyndhurst Castle, Olana, and The New York Hall of Science as well as Fraunces Tavern are projects where demanding environmental design conditions were achieved.
